Zelda Action Figures
Most Zelda games involve locating and exploring dungeons, in which puzzles are solved and enemies fought, then defeating the dungeon's head honcho. Each dungeon customarily has one major item inside, which is mostly necessary for solving plenty of the puzzles in that dungeon and regularly plays a vital role in defeating that dungeon's MD. Some items are consistent and appear many times across the series, while others are totally unique to a single game. The series also consists of stealth gameplay, where the player must avoid enemies while proceeding thru a level, as well as racing elements. The Legend of Zelda games feature a mixture of puzzles, strategic action, adventure / battle gameplay, and exploration. These elements have remained incessant across the series, but with refinements and additions featured in each new game. The player is sometimes rewarded for solving puzzles or exploring areas.
For Zelda fans who were dedicated enough to gather all of the masks in the Majora's Mask Nintendo game, they were treated with a brand spanking new mask called the Pitiless Deity and by donning declared mask, Link transforms into the his adult self yet in charge of the Cruel Deity Demi god. Thanks to First four Figures, they have brought him to life with awfully trustworthy detail. The very first thing you may notice is the paint. While they may have used more colourful colours and a little more sharpness here and there, I'm overall content and happy with the final result of F4F's hard work. Paint nicks here and there do detract from the general beauty, but most are not bigger then a pencil nick meaning they are not visible from afar.
The paint they selected should have been stronger or more impervious to scratches because my pa picked off some of his hair color by running his fingernail against it ( why he did that is a puzzle to me ) Great job, but might have been better. Assembly scarred me for a second as the figure isn't one object, its three including the base.
There's the personality with everything but hands, the hands with the sabre, and the base plate.
While assembling, I heard a crack and got actually worried awfully fast ( you would too if you spent the price tag listed! More on that in a bit ) yet my fears were not for much since it was just some paint on the hands chipping off. So a little hard to put together which should have been less complicated, but I got it at some point.
I ended up super gluing his hands on since he kept hitting himself in the back of the head ( which naturally left a little nick ). Might have been better, but its fairly hard and wonky to try to ship something so large. The Figure stands almost fifteen inches tall and the base plate does give it a little boost in that dept. The plate is terribly detailed with painting designs on top and round the base, but the ones round the base aren't lined up like they need to be, but oh well. Human kind is flawed and so will its products be, right? Because I have announced a handful of small negative things though , don't allow that stop you from considering purchasing this. If you're a die hard zelda fan and I MEAN DIE HARD ZELDA FAN, then I recommend purchasing this statue. For those that like to look, but don't really need to touch or own have the Net to check it out. Weigh the worth of this statue in your consciousness because $271.89 isn't exactly something that you pull out of your couch cushions. Overall, I might give the statue a 7.5 / ten due to price and nicks + assembly...oh and do not forget I had to use super glue to get his epee from clumping the back of his dome! O.K so I was not 100 percent on this figure.
I hopelessly wanted him to finish my F4F Zelda Series so far but with such a heavy ticket and reports of him being Awfully fragile I was pretty skeptical... I completely take it back! He's SO overwhelming. Seriously, he's pretty fragile though - principally when it comes to putting his hands and double helix sabre in to his arms.
I feel guilty for keeping him in the box but till I can find somewhere madly safe to put him ( most likely under lock and key =p ) thats where he'll stay. The painting is out of this world! The colours are so bright and bold, unlike Skull kid whose colours are way more muted in real life than the pictures of him show, with extremely minor effervescent here and there ( but it's not conspicuous at all ). The detail is freaking exquisite. It sounds daft but the base alone is seriously provoking. He's enormous. Truthfully , the most important of all of the statues I have. He even towers above all my Living Dead Dolls. He is surely one of my faves and I'd just about say the most galvanizing piece in my collection ( actually one of the more expensive at $280 ) Had a slight difficulty with shipping and had to pay another £30 ( $50 ) to get him into the United Kingdom. So was pretty pissed about that. But he's worth it. If the chance comes up for you to get this figure, I implore you to get him! You definitely won't be disappointed!!
An animated series based on the games aired in 1989, and individual manga adaptions which are officially suggested and commissioned by Nintendo have been produced in Japan since 1997. The Legend of Zelda action figure series has sold over 52 million copies since the release of the first game, The Legend of Zelda, and is still successful globally. The series consists of fourteen official games on all of Nintendo's major consoles, as well as several spin-offs.
The series centers on Link, the main playable character and protagonist. Link is commonly given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the most typical setting of the series, Hyrule, from Ganon who is the primary antagonist of the series. However, other settings and antagonists have appeared throughout the games, with Vaati having recently become the series' secondary opponent. The story commonly involves a relic called the Triforce, a set of 3 golden triangles of omnipotence. The lead figure in each game is mostly not the same incarnation of Link, but some exceptions do exist. The Legend of Zelda action figure is a high fantasy action-adventure video game series created by game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka and created and released by Nintendo. The gameplay is composed of a mixture of action, journey, puzzle solving, and role-playing.
