The Mcfarlene Toys Radiance series is a dazzling series of beautifully chiseled species, folk and other stuff in the Haloverse. The figures generally have issues with production issues leading to stiff joints, bad scaled weapons and so on. the Flood Combat Form doesn't basically share those. I may make it simple.
It's an extremely detailed figure, more of a statue with a pivoting arm and leg. Which is fine, I keep my figures as a method to luxurious my desks, mantles and such. The gun accessory it came with, an SMG, fits good enough to remain in there when the figure isn't moved.
It's got a tough time standing and requires the black plastic plate that comes with it to hold itself up ( the number's very irregular in shape, the weight only appears distributed to one leg ). To stop stress from the peg and peg hole as the feet aren't even with one another, I just put some coins under his right foot. Now it appears to be balanced and truly cool to show off on top of a fireplace or desk. It's lots horrifying as it mostly had in the games. Usually its not intended to be played with or voiced / posed much, more of a statuette. Same may be said for some of the other Radiance figures. I'd advocate a buy. Make your desk look cool! This figure has great detail. I collect Radiance action figures and when I saw this at Wal-Mart, I just had to have it. It does not have much articulation, only the wrists are evoked. It includes a stand so he will be able to remain rather upright. The S.M.G. ( gun ) is incredible when I attempted to make him hold it, it broke. I would not counsel attempting to fit it into the hand unless your extraordinarily careful. The detail is fantastic, and when my sister came over she virtually threw up.
= ) If your a collector, this could be worth purchasing, if you were going to get it for your kid, you may want to give it a miss. Upsides : extremely detailed to the point of having battle damage on the chest, weapon is sort of detailed too stands simply without help Disadvantages : doesn't include the shotgun that was pictured on the box, I'm not sure if this is restricted to mine but the rear codpiece armor comes off really simply making the legs fall off, it does take some pushing to get the grenade stored, kinda tough to pose with the laser, and the helmet & chest pieces don't remove ( that I could see, could actually be incorrect about that ) This figure is well said, with no loose joints or falling limbs on mine.
The detail is glorious and appears like he came straight out of battle in the videogame, with scuff marks present on his armor. The included laser rifle is beefy looking and the frag grenade is a pleasant touch. It might be straightforward to lose the peg that lets him hang the rifle on his back. I lately started picking up well pronounced / detailed figures from my fave anime / games and am pleased to have this in my collection. Highly detailed.
I liked the feature of a transportable thumb on on the hand that holds the trigger.
Tough to line up the position shown in the picture. I spent ages trying to work out the way to set up the figure shown in the product picture. The weapons, the grenade and and the gun can't be fixed to the body of the figure simply. There's a tiny removable plastic piece that sticks out of the weapons for them to be attached to the body. That piece cannot be inserted absolutely into neither the body of the figure nor the weapon itself, which destroys the over all look with the top quality details on the weapons and the figure. Doesn't stand forcibly, but the toes are attached to the feet by a separated joint which helps a bit. This figure has great detailing and is extremely pose-able. Initially some of the joints were a little stiff, particularly in the ankles and feet. The head, chestplate, and shoulders are removable so they can be swapped with other figures but at times this could be a little exasperating. While making an attempt to pose the figure the shoulder pieces kept falling off the instant my fingers so much as brushed against them. I like to recommend removing them before trying to pose the arms. The attack rifle and grenade the figure incorporates can be attached with pegs to some points on the Spartan, or held in the hands.
While the pegs and peg holes hold them well, the hands are another story. I can get the grenade in the left hand for some poses, but it is better off on the thigh. The rifle is supposed to go in the right hand with the left supporting it, but the space between the fingers and thumb on the right hand is so tiny you want to grab them and require them apart to get the rifle to snap in. Even then the rifle hangs loosely, only fixed in place by by the spot where the fingers and thumb connect.
Halo two is a story-driven action-shooter game with a first-person viewpoint. The game features an expanded range of vehicles, as well as other gameplay changes compared to its predecessor. The first halo featured separate health and shield bars. In Halo 2, the health bar is no longer obvious ; instead, the player's shield regenerates quickly when the player is not taking damage.
After its initial release, Halo 2 was the hottest computer game on Xbox Live, holding that rank until the release of Gears of War for the Xbox 360 nearly 2 years on. By June twenty, 2006, more than 500 million games of halo 2 had been played and more than 710 million hours have been spent playing it on Xbox Live ; by May nine, 2007, this number had risen to more than 5,000,000 unique players on Xbox Live As of November 2008, Halo two is the best-selling first-generation Xbox game with 8.46 million copies sold globally with at least 6.3 million copies sold in the USA alone. Vital reception of the game was typically positive, with most publications lauding the powerful multi-player part ; at the same time, the campaign was the focus of criticism for its cliffhanger ending.
