This figure is a great reproduction of Zack Fair in Crisis Core. As with all the Playarts line, it has masses of well-hidden articulation capable of reproducing lots of Zack's poses from the game. The figure incorporates a further hand for better holding the buster foil as well as a peg for attaching it to his back. The paint application on the garments and hair is outstanding, but the face isn't great and the light color of the flesh tone looks a little sickly. The arms could be a small delicate, particularly holding the sabre's weight, so this one's actually more for looking good in a single pose instead of coarse play. What am I able to say, it is an action figure....thats it.

It does have some nice details to the figure, making it seem as if it was taken from a genuine subject, I do not play with mine, I set up any figures i buy, his wrist did get loose after a particularly short time, but thats nothing major. Cool toy, looks great posed with my Sephiroth, Rinoa and FF8 Guradian Force Odin Vincent Valentine ( Figure no.

Two ). Doubtless the most loved optional side personality in the final Fantasy series.

I was looking so forward to this figure. But when I got him, I had mixed feelings.

Yes he looks great. The detail for him is beatiful. His cape and Cerberus ( his gun ) are very well sculptured. His golden hand and feet look great. Hair and face are well done too. He has OK articulation. More on that later. His cape is a soft rubber thereby giving it great flexability. And it's buckles look good. The Cerberus is very well made for it's size. And can be held or put into a holster found on the figures back right leg. Also the at the base of the guns handle, there's a chain with the Derge Of Cerberus symbol on the end ( THIS CHAIN AND SYMBOL ARE Fragile , BE WARNED! ). Now for the downfall. The downfall is typically his cape. The top part that wraps round his shoulders doesn't unbuckle in any way. Which makes it not possible to raise his arms above his waist. His arms can essentially bend only at the elbows due to this problem.

Which is an enormous limit on possing. But his legs are free from this problem. He does have great detaling under his cape at the shoulders. So you might cut his cape open at the buckles to have more movement and still have him look decent. But that choice is yours. So his cape limitation and the fragile chain on his gun is a disadvantage. Still, to my mind, this figure does this great personality justice. Yes, he's a must have for FF7AC collectors. Or fans of Dirge Of Cerberus. I enjoy the look of this action figure for such a great personality.

Its awfully strong but I just wish I could raise his arm up far enough to rest the gun on his shoulder but that isn't really a big score.

Very well made and I like to recommend this for fans of the series. I originally got this for my three year old for some strange reason likes watching Last Fantasy stuff but when I got it I had to keep it for myself. It was just way to nice but possibly sometime I will be able to let her play with it nicely. This is the 3rd FF figure that I have acquired ( the other 2 being Balthier and Sephiroth ) and I wasn't unhappy by the quantity of detail put into it. Everything down to the buckles to his left arm to the chain on Cerberus are stunning. I was particularly impressed by the cape, which I presumed would be stiff but it's thinner and moves. I was fearful if it were stiff then it'd break due to the little, frayed parts of his cape. I was also content that Vincent has a holster for Cerberus, something I wished Balthier had so I will not risk losing his gun. Compared to the movement of Balthier and Sephiroth, Vincent can move the least. His cape, which I was hoping would unsnap like Sephiroth's coat to make allowance for more range of movement, does not unsnap, so his arms are extraordinarily limited apropos movement. But that's the sole complaint that I have about him. I had marvelled why there had been not an extra left hand, but often the additional hand is a fist, and think of how it might hurt if Vincent curled that clawed hand into a fist! As a minor note, Vicent more soundly holds his gun than Balthier, to the point at which I had to work out the way in which the gun got into his hand. But that is also a minor thing. If you're keen on Advent Youngsters or Dirge of Cerberus, get this figure! From my looking, it isn't too straightforward to find in stores like some of the other Advent Children ones.

Final Fantasy is a media franchise made by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is developed and owned by Square Enix. The franchise centers on a sequence of console role-playing games ( RPGs ), but includes motion pictures, anime, printed media, and other merchandise. The series began in 1987 as an eponymous computer game developed to save Square from bankruptcy ; the game was a hit and spawned sequels. The video game series has since branched into other genres and platforms, such as tactical RPGs, portable games, a stupendously multiplayer online role-playing game, and games for mobile phones.

Although most Final Fantasy installments are independent stories with various different settings and main characters, they feature common elements that define the franchise. Such repeated elements include plot themes, personality names, and game mechanics. Plots center on a group of heroes fighting a great malignant while exploring the characters' internal struggles and relations. Character names are often derived from the history, languages, and mythologies of cultures worldwide .
