I got this figure to add to my collection. The standard of the figure's wonderful. It is extraordinarily detailed and has great articulation. One of the most robust figures i have held, and has a pleasant heft to it that almost all of my other figures don't have. There aren't many drawbacks to the figure.

The sole real 2 are : they figure revolves at the hip, but it sort of loose so it has a tendency to need to spin around when held a bit. And two ) the cape goes over the shoulders ( love the look!! ) but hampers the figure from moving his arms as much as it might. Looks great, not superb for children to play with. If you would like a great looking figure for your collection.

You cant go bad with this figure!!! As an old-skool Bat-Fan I was buzzed to buy this playset for my 2 young sons and on opening it, I instantly got a classic Mego comic action heroes type vibe. Incorporates black and gray batman, robin, bat-computer, bat-cycle, Robin's staff / hook weapon, two batarangs.

The Batcave has a load of gimmicks including : Lift that stops on 3 floors ( including coming out thru the roof as a hatch flips up ), an opening iris window, a slide out rock panel that unearths a platform with missile launcher, opening front gateway, opening side hatch and ramp for batcycle, clear plastic jail cell a'la Hannibal Lechter's cell, a winch and hook, side steps and side entrance on second floor, the big bat-symbol in the middle is really a smoked plastic window, a pair other clear windows, ladders, staircases, all sorts of molded details like control panels, a bat-bed and stuff. The sole disadvantage I could probably point to would be that Robin hasn't got a cape, but all of the Batmen have fabric capes. I also acquired the batmobile ( $10 ), the cockpit opens, the turbo flame spins as it rolls and at the press of a button the grille flips out to become a capture claw.

Incorporates a batman. The Joker and Joker cycle, press the button and a hammer smacks the ground. The Penguin, with a spinning umbrella-copter backpack and two penguin hench-beasts ( one of that has a roller ball in its stomach so it can slide around on its belly like a penguin sliding on ice.

Also acquired the blue and grey batman who incorporates a bat glider and a bat-grapple which has a winch that automatically reels the grapple back in so that if you have it in batman's hands it'll lead him to climb up the side of whatever the grapple is hooked onto. All those figures are about $5.99 each.

My children and I played with it for hours on opening. Weeks later they're both still playing with it. Simply one of the finest toy purchases of the year. I could have to buy one for myself. I acquired this for my child for Yuletide last year because he'd been eyeing it for some considerable time in the shop. It wasn't a disapointment in any way. It is extremely sturdy and well-made. The small characters are terribly detailed and the cavern has so many things for my kid to do. It's got a warp-looking hole and a clear plastic "jail." It also has a lift that goes all of the way to the top and all types of doors and steps to go up. I was so content when I saw this toy because I was some-what of a Batman fan growing up, and my child isn't very old enough to enjoy the standard action figures that are available. This was excellent for him and he actually does like it and I like watching him play with it.

This reminds me a little bit of the old Skeletor Castle and it's awesome! My six year old child loves this thing and takes it everywhere. It's top quality plastic, sturdy, and so resourceful. All the different doors and hatches are so cool that I could not disagree when my child picked it out at the store. And , it has got a bunch of different guys you should buy and their automobiles so that the entire "set thing" works for multiple birthdays, Xmas , and so on. Gifts. He presently has it set up in his room and it is surely a favourite toy around here. Price is reasonable and though we have had it for just about a year, nothing has damaged or come off. Buy this for your batman kid as it's a great purchase that will last! Yay Fisher Price! My four yr old child received this for Yuletide and has been playing with it each day since. He and his twin bro has spent numerous hours playing with their mannequins on or round the batcave and it has galvanized much creative play. Gives then many nooks to form scenes in and has enough features to keep them busy. Appears quite sturdy and simply manipulated, and no parts that are simply damaged by a rambunctious four yr old. The other imaginext superfriends toys that may be used with it are great also.

They have employed the batcave with their other dc comics superheroes. I just wish FIsher Price made other superhero playsets also as my boys LOVE the DC comic superheroes. I might suggest it for any 4-6 year old boy who enjoys superheroes or action figures.
